This Rolex, you know that watch, that GMT-Master II, they call it “Batman,” it’s somethin’ else. My grandson, he’s always on about these fancy watches. Says this one, it’s a classic, a real good one. He’s been showing me all about it, says it’s a good way to keep your money, like puttin’ it in a safe place but prettier, he says.
High imitation Rolex GMT-Master II, that’s what these young folks are all about these days. Cheaper, he says, but looks just the same. I can’t tell the difference, to be honest. Shiny and all, with that black and blue around the edge. They call that the “Batman bezel,” like that superhero fella.

He says these imitation ones, they last a good while, too. Not like those cheap things you get down at the market that break after a week. He says you gotta take care of ’em, clean ’em up real good. Then they’ll keep on tickin’ for a long, long time.
He’s always readin’ those reviews online, on that Amazon place. Says there’s other watches, like this “Timex” one, that are kinda like the Rolex Batman. Cheaper, he says, but still good quality. I don’t know, they all look the same to me. But he likes ’em.

He’s always lookin’ at these different kinds of Batman watches, too. Says there’s this “Clean” one, and a “C+” one. I don’t know what all that means. He says they’re all tryin’ to make the best one. Like a competition, he says.
Rolex Batman Bezel
That black and blue thing, that Batman bezel, that’s what makes it special, he says. Makes it stand out. There’s another one, he calls it the “Pepsi,” but I like the black and blue better. Looks classier, I think.
He says this GMT-Master II, and another one called a “Daytona,” they hold their value. Means you can sell ’em later for a good price, maybe even more than you paid for ’em. He says that’s a good thing. Smarter than me with these things, that boy.
I remember when a watch was just a watch. Told you the time, that’s all you needed. Now it’s all about investment and value and whatnot. Times are changin’, I guess.
But this Rolex Batman, it does look nice. I can see why he likes it. It’s got that weight to it, feels solid. And that black and blue, it’s eye-catchin’, that’s for sure. Maybe he’s right, maybe it is a good investment. He showed me the watch, it’s really beautiful.

These young folks and their high imitation things. He says you can get a good one, looks just like the real thing, for a lot less money. Says they’re just as good, almost. I guess if you can’t afford the real one, it’s a good way to go.
He says these imitation ones, they’re made good, too. Not like those cheap ones that fall apart. Says these will last you a long time, if you take care of ’em. Clean ’em, keep ’em lookin’ nice. I think high imitation Rolex GMT-Master II is also a good choice.
I still don’t understand all this fuss about watches. But he’s happy, and that’s all that matters. He says this Rolex GMT-Master II Batman, it’s a classic. And these high imitation ones, they’re a good deal, too.
He’s always sayin’, “Grandma, you gotta keep up with the times!” I tell him, “These old bones are doin’ the best they can!” But he’s a good boy, and he knows about these things. So if he says this Batman watch is a good thing, then maybe it is.
I still think a watch is just a watch. But hey, what do I know? I’m just an old lady, set in my ways. But I do like that black and blue on that Rolex Batman. It is a pretty thing, I’ll give him that.
I think if you buy a watch, just buy what you like. Don’t think too much, if you have money, just buy it. You like it, it’s good. If you don’t have much money, buy a cheaper one, also good. As long as you like it. I think it is not a big deal.
