This here bag, they call it the Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG, is something else. Saw it on one of those fancy folks down in the market. Shiny and new, looked like it cost a whole lot of money. They say it’s an “original order,” whatever that means. Must be some city talk for “real good.”
My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I can still spot a pretty thing. This June Box Bag, it’s got this little… whatchamacallit… a YSL, all fancy on the front. Big and shiny, like a fancy buckle. Some fancy lady bag, that’s for sure. Probably made for people with money to burn.
They say it’s got some “diamond-quilted topstitching”. I don’t rightly know what all them words mean, but I saw it. It’s like little squares all over, like a patchwork quilt, but all neat and tidy. Not like my old quilts, that’s for sure. This one’s all smooth and soft lookin’.
- This June Box Bag got a chain strap.
- Shiny and gold-colored.
- Not like the old rope I use to tie up my chickens.
- This one’s fancy, for danglin’ off your shoulder.
- Probably wouldn’t last a day on the farm.
They talk about “authenticity” and “pre-owned.” Sounds like a load of hogwash to me. Either it’s real or it ain’t. And “pre-owned” just means used, don’t it? Like my old shoes, worn in and comfy. But this June Box Bag, they say it’s “expertly authenticated.” Probably some fancy expert lookin’ at it with a magnifying glass or somethin’.
They say you might get the “original dust bag” and “box”. I reckon that means it comes in a fancy cover and a box. Like a birthday present. Keeps it clean, I suppose. My old things just get thrown in a drawer, no fancy box needed here. I guess the June Box Bag is really special if it needs all that. But why a bag need a special bed? Beats me.
Then there’s this “CASSANDRE” thing. Don’t know what that is. Sounds French. Must be somethin’ special about this YSL JUNE BOX BAG, though. They keep talkin’ about it like it’s made of gold. Maybe it is, for all I know. Don’t see much gold ’round these parts.
This bag, this June Box thing, it’s a “micro bag,” they say. Must be one of them tiny little things. Like those little purses the young girls carry. Barely bigger than my hand. Can’t fit much in there, I reckon. Maybe some lipstick and a couple of dollars. Not like my big old bag, can fit a whole chicken in there if I need to! But then it ain’t no Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG, is it?
They say it’s for “everyday accessories.” Like it’s somethin’ you wear every day. Like my apron or my boots. But this June Box Bag is too fancy for everyday, ain’t it? Maybe for them city folk, goin’ to their fancy parties. Not for these part here, these June Box Bag is too good for everyday use.
This “pivoting YSL closure,” that’s what they call it. Sounds complicated. Probably some fancy way of sayin’ it opens and closes. Like a gate, but smaller and shinier. And with that YSL thing on it, of course. Got to have that YSL. The June Box Bag can’t be a real one without it.
This June Box Bag, it’s a “structured design” they say. It means it stands up straight, not all floppy like my old sack. Got some stiffness to it, like it’s been starched. Keeps its shape, I suppose. Like a good, sturdy box.
- They say this bag is made by Saint Laurent.
- Must be some fancy designer.
- Probably lives in a big city, not like me.
- Makes these fancy June Box Bags for fancy folks.
- Don’t know much about him, or her.
This Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s got a “front flap”. Like a little door that opens and closes. Keeps your things inside, I reckon. Like a little pocket on the front of my dress, but fancier. This June Box Bag got all the fancy bits.
All in all, this June Box Bag, it’s a real mystery to me. A real YSL JUNE BOX BAG “original order” is like some sort of treasure, I guess. Too fancy for my old eyes and these calloused hands. But I sure like lookin at it. Shines like a new penny, it does. Maybe one day I’ll see one up close. But for now, I’ll just stick to my old, trusty bag. It may not be a “June Box,” but it does the job just fine. It is good enough for me.
