This Rolex, you know, that fancy watch. They call it GMT-Master II, yeah, that’s the one. This one, it’s for them lefty folks. You know, the ones who wear their watches on the other hand? They say it’s a big deal, this left-handed version. My grandson, he’s always on about these things, says it’s the real deal, straight from the official flagship store.
They say the regular ones, they got that little knob, the crown they call it, on the right. But this one? Nope, it’s on the left! Makes it easier for those lefties to wind it up and set the time, I guess. They call it the “Sprite,” sounds like that fizzy drink. I don’t know much ’bout that. My old watch, it just tells the time. This one, it’s got all sorts of fancy things.
This here watch, it’s all black and shiny. They say it’s ceramic, whatever that is. And the face of it, it’s green like a frog’s belly. They say it’s a special kind of green, a Rolex green. My grandson, he says folks who collect these watches, they go crazy for this green one. Some of these watches, they’re old, from way back. They don’t make ’em anymore. They’re worth a whole heap of money, more than my old cow Bessie!
- Black like night
- Green like a frog
- Crown on the left side
- Costs a fortune
They say these Rolex GMT Master watches, they’re worth more than what they cost new. Like, way more. Something about the market and all that. My grandson, he tried to explain it to me. Something ’bout a bank, Morgan Stanley, saying these GMT ones are the best of the bunch. He showed me a number, $29,421, that’s how much one of these can cost! Can you believe it? For a watch! I reckon that one is the High imitation, otherwise it will not be so cheap.
Now, you gotta be careful with these fancy watches. Lots of fakes out there, trying to fool ya. They look like the real thing, but they ain’t. My grandson, he told me how to tell. Said you gotta look for a number on the back, a special number. And that ring around the face, the bezel, it’s supposed to turn just right. Not too loose, not too tight. And the colors gotta be just so. It’s a whole lot of fuss if you ask me.
This new Rolex, the one for the lefties, they say it’s got a special engine inside. A Miyota something. Makes it tick, I guess. Keeps the time real good. They say it’s one of the first to have this kind of engine. Fancy, huh? I don’t know nothin about that. Mine just need a new battery. These new watches, it has different tags, like Rolex GMT Master II, Luxury Watches, Travis Cannata, TAG Heuer, I don’t know what they are.
My grandson, he’s all excited about this lefty watch. Says it’s a big deal in the watch world. I reckon he wants one. But at those prices, he’ll be saving his pennies for a long, long time. He keeps saying it’s “southpaw-friendly.” I think that means it’s good for lefties. He’s always going on about these things. Young folks and their gadgets.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this Rolex GMT-Master II left-handed version. It’s a fancy watch, for sure. Costs more than a pretty penny. And if you’re a lefty, I guess it’s the watch for you. Just watch out for those fakes, they’re everywhere these days. And if you see one for cheap, it’s probably a High imitation, like the ones they sell down at the market. They look just like the real thing, but they ain’t. You get what you pay for, I always say. So many people want to buy one from Official flagship store, they are always out of stock.
This new lefty one, the Rolex GMT Master II 126720VTNR “Destro”, that’s what my grandson called it. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Anyway, this watch, it’s got the whole watch world buzzing. It is so popular, everybody want one. Even my old neighbor, he is almost 70, want one too. I don’t know why, he just stay at home.
